Unearth and Claim Yourself

We live in a world where we perform lots of roles: we are daughters, sisters, wives, partners, lovers, girlfriends, mothers, grandmothers, friends, frienemies, commuters, householders, etc.

It is easy to start identifying our sense of self, our essence, with all of these roles, and to let them determine our relationship with others and the world. Is there something more? What is left when we strip away the roles we perform in private and public society?

This workshop combines a mini lecture, self reflection and yin yoga to answer this question and to guide towards a new birth - towards claiming yourself, owning it and learning how to mother yourself.

Corina is a registered yoga teacher and birth doula (and a former archaeologist). She has been practicing yoga since 2004 and teaching since 2012. Corina studied Trauma Informed Yoga, Yin Yoga, Thai Yoga Massage, and Prenatal Yoga. She weaves these various styles in her classes for a grounded, fun, accessible and memorable practice. Outside her practice, Corina loves cooking, reading (always with a cup of tea), and going on walking adventures to find cats to pet.
